Massimiliano Allegri is contemplating leaving Juventus in the summer and taking a year's sabbatical, according to a report.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly considering taking a year out of the game as it outweighs the lure of taking over at another European heavyweight next season.

Allegri has been touted as an option for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea, each of whom are contemplating a change of manager.

Chelsea in particular are believed to be keen to discuss terms with Allegri due to doubts over Maurizio Sarri, who has temporarily put a stop to questions over his future with back-to-back victories.

La Repubblica claims that Allegri is evaluating a sabbatical following a successful spell with Juve, which is expected to come to an end in the coming months.

The 51-year-old is said to be feeling 'tired and annoyed' as his Juventus tenure draws to a close and he is prepared to say no to another big job in order to enjoy a year's break.
