Zlatan Ibrahimovic has paid tribute to his teammates after helping Manchester United record a 2-0 win over Southampton in the Premier League on Friday night.

Ibrahimovic scored twice on his home debut for the Red Devils, but the former Swedish international preferred to compliment his teammates rather than accept the individual accolades after a brilliant start to his Old Trafford career.

"If the team does good, the individual does good. I try to do what I am best at. So far three goals, I am happy for the team. Two games, two wins. We are becoming better and better. It is a good start, we must get used to winning. We are happy for the three points," Ibrahimovic told Sky Sports News.

"The Premier League is tougher than France and you have to get to know the game. If the goal is early or late, it is the same thing because it is the three points that count."

Man United will attempt to make it three straight Premier League wins at the start of the 2016-17 campaign when they travel to newly-promoted Hull City next weekend.
