Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford "fully fit" ahead of season restart

Marcus Rashford says he is "fully fit" and eager to return to action with Manchester United later this month, after recovering from his back injury during the suspension.

Marcus Rashford has said that he is "fully fit" and eager to return to action with Manchester United once the Premier League restarts later this month.

The forward picked up a back injury in January and was set to miss the rest of the 2019-20 campaign had the coronavirus pandemic not postponed the season.

However, the Englishman believes that he has had time to recover over the past three months, giving the Red Devils a significant boost regarding their top-four hopes.

The England international told Stretty News: "I think coming out of this lockdown we are in a much stronger position than we were going into it.

"I think we just need to take each game as it comes and not get too ahead of ourselves. We are working hard in training, gelling as a team with players coming back from injury, etc.

"For me personally I felt I was having my best season to date before the injury hit so now I'm back fully fit I'm determined to push on."

Prior to the outbreak, Rashford managed 19 goals in all competitions for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side this season.
