Jack Grealish is reportedly left out of Man City's matchday squad for Sunday's Premier League trip to Fulham amidst uncertainty over his future.

Jack Grealish has reportedly been left out of Manchester City's matchday squad for their final Premier League fixture of the season against Fulham on Sunday afternoon.

The Citizens' trip to Craven Cottage is important in their pursuit of Champions League football as they need to claim at least one point to secure a top-five finish.

Man City secured a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth on Tuesday night to climb up to third in the Premier League table, a game in which Grealish made a brief appearance as a substitute in second-half stoppage time.

Pep Guardiola has recently been working with a first-team squad almost at full complement and has reluctantly been forced to leave out some senior stars in the last few matches - Savinho, James McAtee and Rico Lewis were three unfortunate ones to miss out in midweek.

The Catalan is faced with a similar selection dilemma ahead of Man City's visit to West London and it has emerged that Grealish will be one of those who does not feature on the final day.

Indeed, The Telegraph reports that Man City's No.10 has been left out of Guardiola's travelling squad to Craven Cottage, putting the attacker's future at the club in doubt, with journalist Fabrizio Romano adding that there is growing feeling at the club that a summer exit is 'almost guaranteed'.

Grealish facing uncertain future after Man City squad omission

Speculation over the 29-year-old's future at the Etihad Stadium is rife heading into the summer transfer window at a time when he has fallen down the pecking order under Guardiola.

Grealish, who has two years left on his contract, has been limited to only one Premier League start since the turn of the year and Sports Mole understands that the England international and Man City are now open to a parting of ways.

The Citizens would prefer to send Grealish out on loan, but they are reluctant to let the former Aston Villa man join a fellow Premier League club who could rival them for a Champions League spot.

Guardiola recently confirmed that a decision on Grealish's future will be made when discussions take place between the player's representatives, outgoing director of football Txiki Begiristain and his successor Hugo Viana.

"We didn't talk - I didn't talk with him," Guardiola told reporters. "People don't believe me, but these things belong to the agents and the club and Txiki, and in this case Hugo as well. Both will decide."

Grealish's omission from the Man City squad comes just a couple of days after he was left out of Thomas Tuchel's latest England squad ahead of next month's international break.
