When Edin Dzeko joined Manchester City in January 2011 he became the sixth most expensive player in Premier League history and the second biggest transfer the club had ever made - behind only the marquee acquisition of Robinho.

The presence of Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli meant that Dzeko was not always a guaranteed starter under Roberto Mancini and later Manuel Pellegrini, but he still managed to pop up with some important goals during his time at the club.

None were more important than the 92nd-minute equaliser against Queens Park Rangers in the final game of the 2011-12 season, setting it up for Aguero's blockbuster finale as City snatched their first title in 44 years from the hands of local rivals Manchester United.

Dzeko went on to win another Premier League title in 2014, adding to the FA Cup and League Cup already in his trophy cabinet, and left Man City for Roma in 2015 having scored 72 goals in 189 appearances - including 50 in 130 league outings.
