Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester City could line up for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester City continue to work around the absence of Kevin De Bruyne for Wednesday's Champions League Group A battle with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Belgian contracted COVID-19 before Sunday's Premier League win over Everton and will be forced to miss this contest as he completes a self-isolation period.

Jack Grealish also remains a doubt with the knock that forced him to withdraw from England duty, while Ferran Torres's foot fracture is likely to keep him out until 2022.

Pep Guardiola will surely reintroduce Ruben Dias to an otherwise unchanged backline this week, with John Stones likely making way for the returning Portuguese.

Ilkay Gundogan is benefitting from De Bruyne's absence and is set for another midfield start alongside Bernardo Silva and Rodri, who scored a thunderbolt of a goal in the 3-0 win over the Toffees.

Raheem Sterling was handed a rare start in that game and repaid Guardiola's faith in him with a goal, but Riyad Mahrez will expect to return on the right-hand side at the Etihad Stadium.

Cole Palmer caught the eye during his 87-minute cameo against the Toffees but will likely make way for a well-rested Gabriel Jesus, as Phil Foden retains his place in the XI.

Man City possible starting lineup: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo; Silva, Rodri, Gundogan; Mahrez, Jesus, Foden
