Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne is reportedly open to a move to Liverpool after contract talks stall at the Serie A club.

Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne is reportedly open to joining Liverpool amid rumours that contract talks over a new deal have stalled.

The 25-year-old has spent his entire career at the Italian outfit, making his first-team debut in 2009.

There are doubts over the forward's long-term future, though, after jeers from supporters following his missed penalty against Besiktas in the Champions League left him in tears.

According to Rai Sport, Insigne's agents are trying to arrange talks with Liverpool regarding a potential future transfer.

Napoli are currently sixth in the Serie A table.
