RB Leipzig reportedly refuse to sell Naby Keita for any price in this summer's transfer window, ending Liverpool's pursuit.

RB Leipzig will reportedly refuse to sell Naby Keita for any price in this summer's transfer window.

The 22-year-old, has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool since the end of last season, and it is understood that the Reds have had three separate bids - the last of which was £75m - rejected by the wealthy Bundesliga outfit.

Keita, who has a clause in his Leipzig contract which will make him available for £48m next summer, scored eight times and registered seven assists in 31 Bundesliga appearances during the 2016-17 campaign.

Liverpool were said to be confident of signing the midfielder before the new season, but according to Sky Sports News, a senior official at Leipzig has insisted that Keita will not be leaving for any club in this summer's transfer window.

The report adds that Leipzig are currently making plans to offer the Guinea international a new contract in an attempt to eradicate the clause that will make him available for £48m at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

Keita joined Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg before the start of last season.
