Liverpool allow defender Connor Randall to sign for Hearts on a season-long loan deal.

Hearts have completed the season-long loan signing of Liverpool defender Connor Randall.

Randall made his senior debut for the Merseyside giants back in October 2015, but the 21-year-old has since gone on to make just eight appearances in the first team.

Last season, he featured just once - against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup fourth round - and the decision has now been made for the full-back to gain experience elsewhere.

Randall will spend the next campaign playing in the Scottish Premiership with Hearts, who finished last season in fifth place in the standings.

The Edinburgh-based outfit have now made six signings ahead of their first game of the season, which is a trip to champions Celtic.
