Fenway Sports Group stress that Philippe Coutinho is not for sale this summer, regardless of how much money Barcelona offer.

Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group have reiterated that key playmaker Philippe Coutinho is not for sale after rejecting bids from Barcelona.

The Brazil international has been the subject of two offers from the Catalan giants, the more recent of which totalled more than £90m with add-ons.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has constantly stressed that his prized asset will not be leaving for any price, having played a key part for the Reds once again in the Premier League last time out.

Fenway Sports Group has now made its stance on Coutinho public, releasing a statement via the club's official website to warn Barcelona off making another approach.

"We wish to offer clarity as regards our position on a possible transfer of Philippe Coutinho," it read. "The club's definitive stance is that no offers for Philippe will be considered and he will remain a member of Liverpool Football Club when the summer window closes."

Barcelona are in the market for a new attacking player after losing Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain last week for a world-record sum of £200m.
