Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing 19-year-old Lyon full-back Jordy Gaspar this summer.

Liverpool are reportedly planning a move for Lyon full-back Jordy Gaspar.

The Reds are in the market for a new left-back following the departure of Brad Smith to Bournemouth yesterday, while Alberto Moreno was questioned at times last season.

Gaspar is yet to make a senior appearance for the Ligue 1 outfit and is understood to be keen on regular first-team football elsewhere.

L'Equipe reports that the 19-year-old is now on the radar of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, although he could face competition for his signature from Bayer Leverkusen.

Liverpool have already signed seven players this summer, and Klopp recently hinted that he was not looking at any more new arrivals.
