Leonardo Ulloa is reportedly close to signing a new contract with Leicester City.

The 30-year-old only has 12 months remaining on his current deal at the King Power Stadium, and it has been claimed that La Liga trio Real Betis, Levante and Getafe all want to sign the forward in this summer's transfer window.

However, according to Sky Sports News, Ulloa wants to stay at the King Power Stadium, and the Argentine will pen a fresh deal with the former Premier League champions after holding talks with head coach Craig Shakespeare.

Ulloa threatened to go on strike at Leicester in the middle part of last season after the club rejected a January bid from Sunderland.

The experienced forward only scored one Premier League goal for the Foxes during the 2016-17 campaign, although he started just three games in the top flight.
