Mjallby AIK goalkeeper Noel Tornqvist has seemingly talked up a potential transfer to Leeds United.
Having earned promotion to the Premier League, the Yorkshire giants are expected to loosen the purse strings in the hope of cementing themselves back in the top flight.
Although Daniel Farke has just overseen a Championship title-winning campaign, the German has much work ahead as he bids to identify a new first-choice goalkeeper.
Veteran stopper Karl Darlow ended 2024-25 between the sticks after Illan Meslier lost his spot in the team courtesy of a number of mistakes.
The door is now open for at least one new arrival for that position, Tornqvist one of the names that has been linked with a switch to Elland Road.

What has Tornqvist said on Leeds?
Tornqvist came through the academy system at Mjallby to become first choice, now making 79 appearances in total and featuring in a team that sits at the top of the Allsvenskan table.
However, with 18 months remaining on his contract, a move abroad appears to be the next logical step, and the five-cap Sweden Under-21 international admits that it is "fun" being linked with a team of Leeds' stature.
Speaking to Fotbolldirekt, Tornqvist said: "Of course it's fun. It means you're doing something well. I answer the same thing so it's quite boring, but now it's like that.
"It's proof that you're doing it well and I take it in stride. At the same time, there's more focus here but it's fun to hear about it."
On whether a Premier League switch is his "dream", Tornqvist added: "Of course it is. I would be lying if I said otherwise. England and Italy are probably the main destinations that I have had since I was little. We'll see what happens."

A future Leeds number one?
Having kept 26 clean sheets and conceded just 83 goals in 79 games for Mjallby, it is clear to see why he has been tipped for a future move to a major league.
That said, joining a club like Leeds would represent a considerable step up in quality. Furthermore, current national team selections would indicate that he is not regarded in the top five in the pecking order for Sweden.
While Leeds used Meslier from a young age and committed to his development, it is difficult to foresee Tornqvist becoming an immediate number one if he were to sign for Leeds.
