Leeds United will reportedly announce the appointment of Thomas Christiansen as their new head coach later today.

Leeds United have reportedly decided to appoint Thomas Christiansen as their new head coach.

Since the resignation of Garry Monk, the Yorkshire giants have been linked with numerous names, including Aitor Karanka, Claudio Ranieri and Fernando Hierro.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the Championship outfit are preparing to announce the appointment of 44-year-old Christiansen.

The Dane has recently left APOEL after leading the Cypriot club to the top-flight title, although he moved on after they suffered defeat in their cup final.

Christiansen has also spent time in the dugout in Greece with AEK Larnaca, while part of his playing career was spent representing the likes of Villarreal and German side Bochum.
