Didier Deschamps's position as France manager is put under further pressure after a draw with Ukraine takes their winless run to five games.

France manager Didier Deschamps's position has reportedly come under threat after their draw with Ukraine on Saturday.

The result stretched Les Bleus' winless run to five games in all competitions, their longest drought since 2013, as Anthony Martial scored early in the second half to see them play out a 1-1 draw, after Antoine Griezmann had rescued a point in the previous clash with Bosnia-Herzegovina.

After winning the 2018 World Cup in Russia, France crashed out of Euro 2020 this summer in the round of 16 after a penalty shootout defeat to Switzerland, having won just one of their three games in the group stage.

According to Daily Mail, the World Cup winning manager is now under major pressure as the boss of Les Bleus, ahead of Tuesday's clash with Finland.

They meet a nation who sit four points behind them in the World Cup Qualifying group with two games in hand, and the World champions are said to come in with a heavily clashing changing room amid the winless run.

Captain Hugo Lloris was critical of the 'lack of commitment and aggressiveness' following the draw with Ukraine, while a number of other senior players are reportedly growing increasingly frustrated with the state of the side.
