Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how France could line up for Tuesday's World Cup 2022 qualifier with Finland.

France will be forced to cope without Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe for Tuesday's World Cup 2022 qualifier with Finland at the Groupama Stadium.

The 22-year-old left the camp with a calf problem before Les Bleus' 1-1 draw with Ukraine on Saturday, joining N'Golo Kante, Corentin Tolisso and Dayot Upamecano in the treatment room following their earlier departures from the camp.

In Mbappe's absence, Anthony Martial missed a one-on-one before netting his side's equaliser against Ukraine, and the Manchester United man will hope to hold his place in a two-man attacking setup for Les Bleus.

Didier Deschamps left Karim Benzema on the bench for the first 64 minutes of the weekend's game but is sure to bring the Real Madrid man back into the first XI here, with Kingsley Coman potentially dropping out as a result.

A change in formation should see Antoine Griezmann operate in the hole behind Benzema and Martial, but Aurelien Tchouameni - who caught the eye on his full debut - will have to be checked after coming off with a blow to the foot against Ukraine.

The Monaco man is not thought to be carrying anything serious but may not be risked from the off, allowing Jordan Veretout to come back into the middle alongside Adrien Rabiot and Paul Pogba.

Leo Dubois will aim to keep his place at right-back after being drafted in for the suspended Jules Kounde last time out, but Kurt Zouma should drop out for the returning Raphael Varane on Tuesday.

France possible starting lineup: Lloris; Dubois, Varane, Kimpembe, Digne; Rabiot, Veretout, Pogba; Griezmann; Benzema, Martial
