England striker Jamie Vardy says that the Three Lions' medical staff are happy for him to make use of tobacco products during Euro 2016.

Jamie Vardy has claimed that England's medical staff are happy for him to make use of tobacco products during Euro 2016.

The Leicester City striker, who scored against Wales in Thursday's Group B clash, has been pictured holding a pouch of powdered chewing tobacco, also known as snus.

Asked what England's back-up team thought, the 29-year-old said: "They are fine. There's nothing wrong with them. They are more than happy I'm on them.

"There is no pressure. They are just happy for me to be doing what I do at club football. It has worked for me this season and in previous seasons, so I don't see why I should change it now."

Vardy, who also revealed that he steers clear of the gym, could start for the Three Lions' final group game against Slovakia on Monday.
