Croatia vs. Brazil: How do both squads compare ahead of World Cup clash?

Ahead of Friday's World Cup meeting between Croatia and Brazil, Sports Mole looks at how both squads compare, including their most valuable and top-scoring players.

Brazil and Croatia will battle for a place in the semi-finals of the World Cup on Friday at Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan.

A Selecao have fallen at the last eight in three of the last four editions of this competition, losing 2-1 to Belgium in 2018.

Tite saw his side ease past South Korea 4-1 in the round of 16, having made it to at least the quarter-finals of every World Cup since USA 94.

Croatia can become the first team since the Netherlands and Germany in 2014 to qualify for two straight World Cup semi-finals should they upset the Brazilians for the first time in their history.

Zlatko Dalic's side remained unbeaten in penalty shootouts at the World Cup, edging Japan 3-1 from the spot in the last 16 after the match ended 1-1 through 120 minutes.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the squad of Croatia and Brazil stack up against each other ahead of Friday's contest.
