Chelsea teenager Dominic Solanke receives his first England Under-21s call-up after impressing out on loan at Vitesse in Holland.

Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke has been called up to the England Under-21s squad for the first time for this month's U21 Euro 2017 qualifiers against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Switzerland.

The 18-year-old has featured at Under-17 and Under-19 levels before, and now receives a call-up from Gareth Southgate after impressing on loan at Vitesse this season.

The forward, who has scored four goals in nine Eredivisie appearances for the Dutch side, joins Chelsea teammates Lewis Baker, who is also on loan at Vitesse, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Nathaniel Chalobah in the 21-man squad.

Everton's Tyias Browning is back in the squad 18 months after his last appearance at the 2014 Toulon tournament, as fellow defenders Joe Gomez and Kortney Hause miss out through injury.

The Young Lions first take on Bosnia in Sarajevo in a week's time before hosting Switzerland at Brighton & Hove Albion's Amex Stadium on November 16.
