Eden Hazard reportedly intends to tell Chelsea that he wishes to join Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.

Eden Hazard has reportedly decided to tell Chelsea that he wants to sign for Real Madrid.

Hazard has enjoyed a hugely successful period at Stamford Bridge since joining the club in 2012, but the Belgium playmaker has frequently been linked with a move to Madrid.

The 28-year-old has reached a point where he now has less than 18 months remaining on his contract, putting both himself and Chelsea in a position where they must make a decision on the player's future.

According to The Telegraph, Hazard is yet to tell Chelsea about his desire to move to La Liga, but that may occur in the coming days with Real reiterating that they wish to secure his signature.

Hazard has suggested in the media that he has made his decision, and that he will make an announcement on Wednesday.

Chelsea will likely demand in the region of £100m to part ways with Hazard.
