Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has revealed that he would like his future with the club to be resolved before he heads to the World Cup with Belgium.
The Blues stopper will enter the final year of his deal next season, and with no extension currently in place, the 25-year-old is at risk of being lost to another European heavyweight.
Courtois told Sporza that he wants to go to the finals in Russia in June with a "clear idea" set out for his future.
"If I go to the World Cup with a clear idea, sign or wait another year, then I have a clear head at the tournament," the goalkeeper said.
"I am still proud to play at Chelsea and I want to achieve success. I have one year [left on my] contract and feel good at Chelsea, at the end of the season we will sit down together and set out a vision.
"I know that I will be at Chelsea next year as well."
Courtois admitted earlier this year that he would not rule out returning to his family in Spain, where he spent time on loan with Atletico Madrid.
