Celtic "are capable of going to Barcelona and getting a result" in the Champions League on Tuesday night, insists the club's young forward Moussa Dembele.

Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has insisted that his club can secure a positive result against Barcelona in the group stage of the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Celtic will enter the match at Camp Nou off the back of a 5-1 win over Rangers at the weekend, while Barcelona were beaten 2-1 by newly-promoted Alaves on home soil.

Dembele, who scored a hat-trick in the first Old Firm derby of the season, has said that the Scottish champions "are capable of going to Barcelona and getting a result".

"We are capable of going to Barcelona and getting a result. We are going there to give everything to come away with something. When you start any game of football, even if it is against the best in the world, you have to show that you belong and give everything to get a result," Dembele told reporters.

The 20-year-old has now scored seven times in 11 appearances for Celtic this season.
