Bournemouth have reportedly had a bid rejected for Auxerre midfielder Kevin Danois.
The Cherries recently wrapped up a successful campaign with a 2-0 victory over relegated Leicester City at the Vitality Stadium.
Semenyo's brace moved Bournemouth into ninth place, equaling the club's best-ever Premier League finish, while they also achieved their highest-ever top-flight points tally, reaching 56 from 38 games to surpass last season's total of 49.
Bournemouth will be proud of their efforts in the 2024-25 campaign, but they will be hungry to improve their squad this summer so that they can push on next season.

Bournemouth fail with Danois move
They appear to be keen to strengthen their midfield options, with Foot Mercato reporting that they are looking to sign Auxerre's Danois.
The report claims that Bournemouth have already had a €11m (£9.3m) transfer offer rejected by the Ligue 1 club.
After failing with their first bid, it remains to be seen whether the Cherries will return to the negotiating table with an improved proposal.
The South-coast side should have money to spend in the transfer market after recently selling Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid for £50m, while there is also the possibility that they could bring in more funds if the likes of Milos Kerkez and Antoine Semenyo leave this summer.

Who is Bournemouth's transfer target?
Danois has spent the last six years with Auxerre since joining the club's academy from Guadeloupe's La Gauloise in 2019.
After spending time in the youth setup, the 20-year-old made his senior debut in the Coupe de France in January 2023.
Danois has gone on to make 36 competitive appearances for the first time, playing a role in last season's promotion-winning campaign, before helping the club avoid relegation with an 11th-placed finish.
Despite being hampered by a couple of injury issues, Danois still gained valuable top-flight experience in the 2024-25 campaign, starting 16 of his 22 Ligue 1 matches.
Danois can play as a central midfielder and in an advanced position, while he has also proven that he can provide cover at right-back.
