Birmingham City reportedly inform veteran goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak that he is free to leave the club this summer.

Birmingham City have reportedly told goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak that he is free to leave the club this summer.

The former Manchester United stopper has told Przeglad Sportowy that he is surplus to requirements at the Championship club.

The Polish news outlet also reports that Derby County and Newcastle United made failed approaches for Kuszczak during the January transfer window.

Kuszczak is said to be keen to find a new club in the Premier League.

The veteran Pole has spent the last three years at Birmingham, having joined the club from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2015.
