Roberto Martinez and Julen Lopetegui both made their international management debuts as Belgium welcomed Spain to Brussels for a glamour friendly on Thursday night.
It was the visitors that entered the half-time break with the lead courtesy of a 34th-minute effort from David Silva, before the Manchester City attacker made it 2-0 from the penalty spot just past the hour.
Spain's domination continued in the latter stages as they looked to pour more misery on Belgium boss Martinez, but it finished 2-0 as Lopetegui enjoyed a winning start to his La Roja tenure.
