Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez has revealed that Denis Suarez will re-join the Spanish champions in this summer's transfer window.
Suarez, 22, represented Barcelona B between 2013 and 2015, before making the move to Villarreal last summer.
Barcelona retained a buy-back clause in the attacker's contract, however, and Fernandez has confirmed that Suarez will return to Camp Nou after impressing during the 2015-16 campaign.
"Villarreal already have notification. They know, and on July 1 it will be official," Fernandez told Mundo Deportivo.
Suarez made his Spain debut in last week's 3-1 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina.
