Barcelona director: 'Dani Alves has left club'

Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez confirms that Dani Alves has decided to leave the La Liga champions ahead of a rumoured switch to Juventus.

Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez has confirmed that full-back Dani Alves has decided to leave the La Liga champions.

The Brazilian, currently in the United States preparing to play with his national team in the Copa America, is also said to have put pen to paper on a contract with Italian giants Juventus.

At Camp Nou on Thursday, Fernandez told journalists at a press conference: "Dani Alves has decided to leave. It's a personal decision that we respect."

Alves, 33, has played for the Blaugrana since 2008, prior to which he represented fellow La Liga side Sevilla.
