Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Barcelona on Sunday, July 19.

The buildup to the summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Barcelona eye possible reinforcements.

The Spanish champions spent big on Antoine Griezmann during the summer but missed out on a big-name striker in January, leading to speculation that they could splash the cash again when the window reopens.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news from the Camp Nou.

Sunday morning's Barcelona transfer talk news roundup:

Arsenal eye Matteo Guendouzi, Philippe Coutinho swap with Barcelona?

Arsenal could reportedly move for Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho in a deal which would see Matteo Guendouzi head in the other direction.

Speculation has been rife surrounding Guendouzi's future following disciplinary issues at Arsenal, and the Frenchman has been left out of Mikel Arteta's squad since his fracas with Brighton & Hove Albion's Neal Maupay.

Guendouzi has now missed eight games in all competitions for the Gunners and did not feature in their FA Cup semi-final victory over Manchester City on Saturday, leading to further suggestions that the 21-year-old will head for the exit door this summer.

According to Foot Mercato, Guendouzi could be offloaded to Camp Nou in a sensational swap deal for Coutinho, with the Gunners midfielder allegedly making it clear that he would like to leave.

Coutinho, who is currently plying his trade on loan at Bayern Munich, has been persistently linked with a move back to the Premier League after struggling to impress at Barcelona.

Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are all rumoured to be keeping tabs on Guendouzi's future.

Arsenal to trigger £41m Joelson Fernandes release clause?

Arsenal are reportedly ready to activate the £41m release clause in the contract of Sporting Lisbon winger Joelson Fernandes.

The 17-year-old's performances at Under-23 level are understood to have drawn the attention of a number of Europe's top clubs, including Barcelona and Juventus.

Fernandes became the youngest player in Sporting history earlier this season and has gone on to make three substitute appearances for the first team so far.

Portuguese outlet A Bola reports that Arsenal are leading the race for his signature and are considering an imminent £41m bid in order to trigger his release clause.

Fernandes is represented by agent Kia Joorabchian, who has worked closely with Arsenal director Edu in the past.

The teenage winger has drawn comparisons with Cristiano Ronaldo, who also came through the ranks at Sporting, although the financial knock-on effect of the coronavirus pandemic could harm Arsenal's chances of stumping up the required amount of cash for his signature.
