rounds up the latest transfer rumours ahead of the summer window, including Aaron Ramsdale to Aston Villa, Martin Baturina to the Premier League, Abdoul Karim Traore to Leicester

Aston Villa have reportedly shortlisted Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale as a potential replacement for Emiliano Martinez this summer.

Martinez was culpable for a huge error in Villa's must-not-lose Premier League finale at Manchester United over the weekend, being sent off shortly before half time in an incident that ultimately played a big part in their defeat, and subsequent failure to qualify for the Champions League.

While the Argentine Golden Glove winner was at fault for that defeat, missing out on top-tier European football could well see the Villa stopper move on this summer.

Manager Unai Emery has been very tight-lipped about Martinez's potential departure this summer, but recent rumours suggest they are already planning for life without him.

According to Football Insider, Ramsdale, who has just suffered a third career Premier League relegation with Southampton, is among the players Villa could look at to replace Martinez for next season.

Relegation to the Championship has activated a £25m release clause in Ramsdale's contract, but the report also states that the England keeper is not the only name on Emery's shortlist.

Leicester looking to add firepower ahead of Championship rebuild

From one player leaving a relegated club to another possibly joining one of this season's unfortunate three, and young Guinean striker Abdoul Karim Traore, who has been linked with a move to Leicester City.

The Foxes have a huge void to fill in attack, with Jamie Vardy departing this summer after over a decade of service, and the club will also have to rebuild for life in the second tier once more.

One of the players to come in could be exciting youngster Traore, who has broken out this season playing for Bourg-en-Bresse in the French third tier.

FootMercato claim that Leicester, as well as Belgian club Westerlo, are both keeping tabs on the 18-year-old, who scored twice in his side's win over Dijon on the final day of the season last week.

Bourg-en-Bresse missed out on promotion to Ligue 2, but they could be in for a big pay day should Traore make a move this summer, and it would be in their best interest to strike a deal, given that the player's contract runs out in 12 months' time.

PSG facing Premier League competition for Baturina

Moving on to France's top tier, Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly among four clubs who are looking to sign Dinamo Zagreb star Martin Baturina this summer.

There are very high hopes for Baturina in Croatia, as the country seeks to bring through their next generation after the unprecedented success they have enjoyed over the past decade, and the 22-year-old is one of the players expected to reach the very top.

Baturina has honed his talent at Dinamo for four seasons now, resisting a big-money move too early in his career, but while already being a Croatia international, and with his club missing out on the title to Rijeka this season, this summer could be the time to move on.

Football Insider claim that along with PSG, Premier League clubs Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest are all looking to strike a deal in the region of £20m for the playmaker.

All four clubs will have European commitments next season across UEFA's three continental competitions, and squad improvement will be necessary.

The report states that PSG's interest dates back to January, but the financial might of the three Premier League clubs also gives them a good chance of convincing Baturina to join, but if the French giants were to win the Champions League next week, that could play a huge factor in their pull in the market.
