Crystal Palace and Aston Villa announce their first XIs for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium.

Crystal Palace and Aston Villa have announced their first XIs for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium.

Unai Emery's biggest selection dilemma ahead of this contest was whether to start Marcus Rashford or Ollie Watkins down the middle of his attack.

However, with Rashford not being selected in the squad, presumably through injury, Watkins leads the line with Morgan Rogers in support.

There are two more changes to the starting lineup, with John McGinn and Marco Asensio seemingly being handed opportunities on the flanks.

Amadou Onana and Jacob Ramsey are the players to miss out, while the goalkeeper and back four remains the same on the back of the 2-1 defeat at Manchester City on Tuesday night.

Palace make three changes

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner has made three alterations from the 2-2 draw at Arsenal, with that game also taking place in midweek.

Most notably, Jean-Philippe Mateta has been restored to the centre of the attack, with Eddie Nketiah dropping down to the substitutes' bench.

Ismaila Sarr, who has an impressive scoring record against Villa, is also recalled to the front three, while Chris Richards is named in the defence.

Jefferson Lerma and Justin Devenny are the other two players to be named as a replacement, where they are joined by Ben Chilwell after his recovery from illness.

Crystal Palace XI: Henderson; Munoz, Richards, Lacroix, Guehi, Mitchell; Wharton, Kamada; Sarr, Mateta, Eze

Subs: Turner, Ward, Lerma, Nketiah, Clyne, Hughes, Esse, Chilwell, Devenny

Aston Villa XI: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Torres, Digne; McGinn, Kamara, Tielemans, Asensio; Rogers; Watkins

Subs: Olsen, Mings, Maatsen, Garcia, Barkley, Onana, Bailey, Malen, Ramsey
