Roma are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy should their pursuit of Torino's Bruno Peres fall through.

Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy has emerged as a transfer target for Roma, according to reports.

The 31-year-old played just two Premier League games for the Gunners last season and spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Bordeaux.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Torino full-back Bruno Peres is the Giallorossi's first choice in the market, but should that fall through, they would enquire about Debuchy.

Roma are reportedly hoping to push through a move in time to see either Debuchy or Peres line out against Porto in the Champions League in midweek.
