Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho says that he is eager to continue proving his worth to the club after scoring against Arsenal.

Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho has revealed ambitions to revive his career at the club after finding the net during the Foxes' 3-1 win against Arsenal.

The Nigerian, who has made just six starts from joining the club from Manchester City last summer, said that he is eager to continue proving his worth at the King Power Stadium.

"That's what every player wants, to play. When you work hard, you get your chance, so I'll keep working hard and see what's next," Sky Sports News quotes Iheanacho as saying.

"It's always good to be involved in a good sport, with a great team. We started well and we got the first goal. We had the confidence and the momentum and we finished well.

"It was important to get the first goal to get us going and get our confidence back for the last couple of games. I think we've got our confidence back now, we're strong and we'll keep going. It was a great goal, good composure, a good assist from Fouss [Fousseni Diabata] and a good finish."

Iheanacho's strike against Arsenal was only his second in the league for Leicester.
