Arsenal interim boss Freddie Ljungberg reveals that he is working on a "game-to-game basis" at the Emirates Stadium.

Freddie Ljungberg has revealed that he is working on a "game-to-game basis" at Arsenal.

The Swede is currently in charge of first-team affairs on an interim basis and picked up his first win as head coach on Monday night as the Gunners recorded a 3-1 victory over West Ham United.

Speaking after the clash at the London Stadium, the club's former attacker revealed that he is in discussions with technical director Edu, but he is strictly working on a "game-to-game basis".

Next up for the Gunners, who sacked Unai Emery on November 29, is a trip to Standard Liege in the Europa League, before continuing their Premier League campaign at home to the champions Manchester City next weekend.

"I speak to Edu. Of course we played with each other, I don't have much staff so we talk about football. But I've been told to work on a game-to-game basis and that is what I am trying to do," Ljungberg told reporters. "It is a club I love and I will try to help as much as I can, then it is up to them to do what they do."

Arsenal trailed 1-0 to West Ham on Monday before three goals in the space of nine second-half minutes saw the London club record their first Premier League win since the start of October.
