Gianluigi Donnarumma is reportedly now considering remaining with AC Milan, but the Italian club will not budge on the £167,000-a-week contract initially offered to him.

AC Milan will reportedly stand firm on the £167,000-a-week deal offered to goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, despite the growing interest in him from elsewhere.

The 18-year-old has already declined the Rossoneri's first contract proposal, leaving him open to depart San Siro as a free agent in a year's time.

Real Madrid and Manchester United have both been linked with the Italy international, while Juventus recently admitted that they could be persuaded to join the chase further down the line.

Donnarumma's mood has changed in recent weeks, though, leaving Milan hopeful of seeing the young keeper agree a new contract, but Sky Sport Italia reports that the terms of the initial offer still apply.

Milan have already signed five new players this summer in a bid to finally climb back to the top of Italian football, while Hakan Calhanoglu - valued at £17m by Bayer Leverkusen - is close to becoming the sixth to join.
