Gianluigi Donnarumma signs new four-year AC Milan deal

AC Milan announce that highly-rated goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has signed a new long-term contract with the Italian giants until the summer of 2021.

AC Milan have announced that highly-rated goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has signed a new long-term contract with the Italian giants until the summer of 2021.

Donnarumma became the youngest goalkeeper ever to debut in Serie A at the age of 16, and has since become Milan's undisputed number one despite only turning 18 in February.

The teenager, who stands at 6'5", also became Italy's youngest ever stopper when he made his international debut in last September's friendly with France.

Donnarumma is said to have rejected the chance to sign a new contract at San Siro earlier this summer, amid suggestions that Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain were preparing moves for the stopper.

However, speculation surrounding Donnarumma's future has now come to an end, with the teenager penning a fresh four-year deal.

Reports in Italy have claimed that Donnarumma's new deal includes a release clause of £62m.
