Tommy Lee shocked fans last week by posting a full-frontal nude picture to his Instagram account.
The 59-year-old rocker is known for appearing in one of the world's most famous celebrity sex tapes after his romp on a boat with Pamela Anderson was leaked in the 1990s.
In a new snap, posted on Thursday, Lee was seen sitting down completely naked with his flaccid penis on view, alongside the caption: "Ooooopppsss."
Although the picture drew praise from many of his 1.4 million followers, it sparked accusations of double standards from some quarters as it remained online for at least four hours before being removed.
Instagram has a strict no-nudity policy and the platform has previously acted with haste to remove pictures of female celebrities which contravene the rules.
The picture remains visible on Lee's Twitter account.
