ITV signs a long-term deal to broadcast exclusive coverage of the England Women's team's tournament qualifiers and friendly games.

ITV has signed a new deal for exclusive coverage of England Women's tournament qualifiers and friendlies running through to the end of the 2024-25 season.

The deal includes the Lionesses' endeavours to reach the finals of the World Cup and European Championships and means that ITV becomes home to both the England men's and women's teams.

Niall Sloane, ITV's director of sport, said: "This is an exciting moment to announce this deal with England Women about to start their qualifying campaign for the 2023 World Cup and at the outset of a season which will build towards England hosting the Women's Euros next summer.

"We're delighted to be able to bring viewers the very best coverage of the action and the stories, live and free to air, over the coming years."

ITV's coverage begins next week with England's World Cup qualifier against North Macedonia on Friday, September 17.
