Olympic champion Ed McKeever wins Team GB's second medal at the European Games with a third-place finish in the kayak K1 200m event.

Team GB's Ed McKeever held on to finish third in the kayak K1 200m final at the European Games in Baku on Tuesday.

The Olympic champion had been ahead in the early stages of the race, but Hungary's Miklos Dudas launched a late charge, winning the race in 35.123 seconds, just in front of Sweden's Petter Menning.

McKeever claimed the final spot on the podium with a time of 35.774, finishing less than 0.1 seconds ahead of Alekejs Rumnancevs of Latvia and Serbia's Marko Dragosavljevic, who tied for fourth.

The 31-year-old is Great Britain's second medallist at the Games, following Gordon Benson's win in the triathlon at the weekend.
