Felipe Nasr has tipped September to host the culmination of this year's driver 'silly season'.

The Brazilian's countryman Felipe Massa has announced his decision to retire at the end of the year, and Nasr has been tentatively linked with the Williams seat.

Nasr, who currently drives for Sauber with backing from Banco do Brasil, told UOL: "A lot will be going on this month.

"I think the market has begun to move and I think that September will be the month of the decisions."

Nasr thinks that the key to the market is Sergio Perez, with his lucrative Mexican backing.

"I would say that Perez is attractive for many teams," he said. "He is a key player in this market."

The season continues tomorrow with the Italian Grand Prix.
