Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez's record vs. Everton

Sports Mole looks at Raul Jimenez's record against Everton as Wolverhampton Wanderers prepare to make the trip to Goodison Park.

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez will be attempting to score against Everton for the sixth game in succession on Sunday afternoon.

After recovering from a fractured skull, Jimenez has played an active part during 2021-22, contributing six goals and three assists from his 26 Premier League appearances.

While the Mexico international will be disappointed with his return this campaign, the 30-year-old will take pride from his record versus the Toffees since his arrival at Molineux in 2018.

Jimenez has scored five goals in as many games against the Merseyside outfit, netting one strike in each of the five encounters.

The summer signing marked his debut in August 2018 with a goal, powering home a header to earn the newly-promoted club a deserved 2-2 draw in the West Midlands.

Later on that season, Jimenez again played his part, netting in a 3-1 victory at Goodison Park which eventually helped Wolves qualify for the Europa League.

At the start of 2019-20, Wolves succumbed 3-2 in the North West, Jimenez getting Wolves back on terms at 2-2 before Richarlison scored a late winner.

However, once football started behind closed doors during the coronavirus pandemic, Jimenez netted the first goal of a 3-0 win at Molineux, his goal coming from the penalty spot.

Jimenez's most recent effort against Everton came at the start of November, the frontman producing a cool finish after capitalising on a weak back-pass to score at Molineux for the first time since his injury.
