The Football Association has decided not to punish West Bromwich Albion midfielder Jake Livermore over his confrontation with a West Ham United supporter.
While being substituted in the second half of the Baggies' 2-1 defeat at the London Stadium, Livermore was taunted over the death of his baby son.
The 28-year-old reacted by climbing into the stands to confront the West Ham fan, who according to The Mirror, said: "Losing a baby is no excuse for failing a drugs test"
The supporter, who was later issued with a ban from the Hammers, was referring to the incident when Livermore tested positive for cocaine a year after his son passed away during childbirth.
The FA has now decided not to take any action against the midfielder due to the abuse that he faced, but has reminded the layer to walk away from such incidents in the future.
The English governing body is also satisfied with West Ham's handling of the issue.
