Swansea City have confirmed the signing of Courtney Baker-Richardson from National League North side Leamington FC.

The 21-year-old came through the ranks at Coventry City but was released in 2014, after which he played for a number of non-league sides.

Baker-Richardson has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at the Liberty Stadium and will link up with the Under-23 squad.

The striker told the official club site: "It still has not sunk in. The welcome I have had has been superb and I feel this is a move that can benefit my career and help me push me on. I am very excited to get started.

"I have had to take a few knock backs in my career, but whenever people tell me I am not good enough, it only motivates me to prove them wrong. I am looking forward to getting started."

Baker-Richardson was also rumoured to be on the radar of Leicester City.
