Stoke City reportedly tell Swansea City that they will not be considering any more offers for Wales midfielder Joe Allen.

Stoke City have told Swansea City that midfielder Joe Allen will not be sold this summer, according to reports.

The 27-year-old made over 100 appearances for the Swans, helping them become an established Premier League side before joining Liverpool in the summer of 2012.

Allen then spent four seasons at Anfield before moving on to Stoke last summer, going on to enjoy a successful campaign for Mark Hughes's side.

According to Sky Sports News, Swansea were reportedly interested in re-signing the Wales international, but have been told directly that Stoke will not entertain any more offers for him.

Allen, capped 36 times at international level, spent 12 years with the Swans after coming through the ranks at the Liberty Stadium.
