Mauricio Pochettino names a strong Tottenham Hotspur starting lineup for their clash away at Stoke City.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has been able to name his preferred starting lineup for tonight's Premier League encounter away at Stoke City.

The Argentine has selected the same side that picked up a 3-0 victory at home to Manchester United last time out.

It means that the attack will once again be spearheaded by leading goalscorer Harry Kane, with Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela offering the support from advanced midfield roles.

Centre-back Jan Vertonghen returned from an injury layoff against United and he resumes his defensive partnership with fellow Belgian Toby Alderweireld.

As for the hosting Potters, manager Mark Hughes has opted to make a change in goal.

Jakob Haugaard deputised for the injured Jack Butland against Liverpool last weekend, but this evening the experienced Shay Given has been handed the gloves.

Elsewhere, Marc Muniesa, Geoff Cameron and Marko Arnautovic have also been recalled to the side.

Stoke City: Given; Cameron, Shawcross, Wollscheid, Muniesa; Whelan, Imbula; Shaqiri, Afellay, Arnautovic; Bojan
Subs: Haugaard, Bardsley, Ireland, Joselu, Adam, Diouf, Crouch

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris; Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Dier, Dembele; Lamela, Eriksen, Alli; Kane
Subs: Vorm, Davies, Trippier, Wimmer, Mason, Chadli, Son
