Burnley snatched a late 1-1 draw away at Tottenham Hotspur thanks to a strike from Chris Wood on his first Premier League outing for the club.
The Lilywhites dominated the match and turned possession into chances in the second half, but they only took one of their openings as Dele Alli prodded home 49 minutes in.
There was a sense of inevitability about Wood's leveller when it eventually arrived, with the Clarets pulling off the ultimate smash-and-grab raid to return to Lancashire with another away point.

The Lilywhites' struggles at the national stadium continued last week with a 2-1 defeat here against Chelsea, leaving them with just two wins from 11 at their temporary new home.
3.32pmThe Clarets will be looking to capitalise this afternoon, a fortnight on from pulling off a shock 3-2 victory over the defending champions at Stamford Bridge. This is a good time to face last season's second-placed side, as they desperately attempt to acclimatise to their new surroundings in this early stage of the 2017-18 campaign.
3.34pmPrior to going down 2-1 to Chelsea seven days ago, Spurs earned a 2-0 victory away at Newcastle United. Mauricio Pochettino has many critics to prove wrong over the next nine months, having been written off as title challengers – despite coming so close last time out – due to their change of ground.
3.36pmThere is no denying that playing at White Hart Lane was a huge factor behind last season's club-record finish in the Premier League. Spurs went the whole campaign unbeaten on the own patch, while going further back not since May 2016 had they lost a game at their famous old home, which has been demolished to make way for the overlapping new ground.
3.38pmThis Wembley hoodoo is not the only thing Spurs need to overcome today, however, as leading marksman Harry Kane has still yet to score in the month of August. The Englishman, one goal short of hitting a ton for the Lilywhites in all competitions, has had 34 shots on across 12 games but is awaiting that maiden strike in the opening month of the season.
3.40pmBurnley head to the capital on the back of a 1-0 league loss at the hands of West Bromwich Albion, meanwhile – a typical Tony Pulis display from the Baggies eight days ago, as they left Turf Moor with all three points despite having to ride their luck at times. That was in stark contrast to a week beforehand when the Clarets edged Chelsea in a five-goal affair.
3.42pmOnly twice before, in 1914-15 and 1922-23, have Burnley picked up top-flight wins away to Chelsea and Tottenham in the same campaign. They have won back-to-back games in the capital, though, having also earned victory at Crystal Palace in the tail end of 2016-17 – their only away triumph in the whole of the previous season.
3.44pmThe Clarets, who had previously picked up just two points from a possible 45 available to them in London matches, visit Wembley Stadium today for the first time since the 2009 Championship playoff final when beating Sheffield United 1-0. The Clarets' last taste of success away from home in this fixture came in January 1983 when earning a 4-1 victory in the EFL Cup. Not since October 1974 have they triumphed on their travels in league competition, however, while their only previous tie against Spurs at Wembley ended in a 3-1 loss in the 1962 FA Cup final.

Davinson Sanchez, the club-record signing from Ajax, has been cleared to take a place among the subs.
3.52pmSon Heung-min, who has been struggling for fitness due to the hand injury sustained earlier this summer, is also recalled to the starting lineup. Son will start on the right of an attacking-midfield three, alongside Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, each tasked with supplying the ammunition for Kane in the central-striking position. Elsewhere, Ben Davies and Kieran Trippier continue to occupy full-back spots.

Sam Vokes starts up top at Wembley, meaning that new recruit Chris Wood - a £15m signing from Leeds United last week - is made to watch on from the bench, having made his debut as a substitute against Blackburn Rovers in midweek. The Kiwi will almost certainly play a part today.
3.58pmThere is no Jonathan Walters for the Clarets, meanwhile, as he picked up an ankle injury early on against Blackburn and eventually hobbled off before the break. Dyche has attempted to pack out the centre of the park with the inclusion of five midfielders, including the returning Arfield and experienced pair Jack Cork and Steven Defour. Keeping out the opposition for 90 minutes will be a tough task, so plenty of eyes on England international Tom Heaton over these next couple of hours.

3 minPositive start from the home side, as Trippier attempts to pull the ball back for Eriksen. Defour was there to cover on that occasion, with Burnley instantly getting every body back behind the ball to soak up the early pressure.
5 minHalf a chance for Vokes to give the Clarets a shock lead, but his shot inside the box deflects behind for a corner. The set piece comes into the area, where neither Mee nor Tarkowski could turn the ball goalwards near the back post.
7 minSAVE! First attempt on goal of the afternoon comes via the boot of Brady, whose attempted cross was heading for the top corner if not for Lloris's intervention. Decent stop from the Frenchman in the end to concede a corner.
9 minThe visitors have started the brighter, earning a succession of corners which have ultimately come to little. This latest one was the best of the lot, though, with James Tarkowski getting under the ball to head over Hugo Lloris's crossbar.
11 minBLOCK! Spurs finally show signs of clicking into gear as Eriksen is picked out in a dangerous position, but he was unable to test Heaton in the Burnley goal. The Dane's snapshot was well blocked by Tarkowski, who has been involved at both ends of the field.
13 minCLOSE! Spurs have done well to take back control of the game. Ben Davies sends in a teasing delivery from a free kick which Kane was unable to guide past England international teammate Heaton with his headed attempt.
15 minHeaton tested by Son's effort, but the offside flag was quickly raised. A lively start to the contest at Wembley Stadium, with Burnley starting the brighter of the two sides before the hosts quickly wrested back control of the match.
17 minTottenham's front four players seeing a fair bit of the ball, but with nearly a quarter of the match played they have been unable to find a way past opposition keeper Tom Heaton. Plenty of time left for that to change, of course...
19 minDier gets on the end of Eriksen's lofted cross, which he is unable to sends goalwards. With 19 minutes played at the national stadium, we have seen just the one stop - Lloris helping over Brady's goalbound cross before it could reach the top corner.
21 minBurnley threatening just as much as their opponents in the opening quarter of the match, with Tarkowski in particular proving to be a threat from crosses into the box. The centre-back heads over the crossbar from his latest attempt.
23 minPochettino will not be entirely happy with what he has seen from his side so far. Credit to Burnley for that, though, because rather than sit back they have looked to make the most of set pieces by getting bodies forward.
25 minSpurs still yet to create any clear-cut openings, with Heaton not having to make a save so far. The Lilywhites have seen 80% of the ball but, on the basis of what we have seen so far, Burnley will not be all that concerned.
27 minTottenham win their fourth corner of the match - the eighth overall - which is only half-cleared. No trouble in the end, though, with the subsequent shot from range looping into the air for keeper Tom Heaton to comfortably collect.
29 minHome fans now trying their best to urge their players on. Tottenham continue to boss possession but chances have proved hard to come by, with Burnley coming closest to making a breakthrough when Brady nearly picked out the top corner.
31 minBurnley making it incredibly difficult for their opponents to find a route through to goal. Dyche will be happy with the way this contest is panning out, with more than third of the match already played. Still no real chances for either side.
33 minIt is becoming quite clear that Burnley's best hope of a goal is via a set-piece delivery into the box, having threatened a few times when Tarkowski and Mee have gone up. Pochettino will not panic too much just yet, with plenty of time to find a way through.
35 minBLOCK! Another big block from Tarkowski, this time to keep out Harry Kane's close-range finish once picked out by Ben Davies from out side. Spurs starting to turn the screw a little with 10 minutes of the half to play.
37 minThe stats show that we still technically have not had a single attempt on target in the opening 37 minutes or so, as Brady's earlier effort was a cross. It is proving to be another frustrating afternoon thus far for the home side.
39 minSpurs players are adamant that they should have had a penalty after Eriksen's curled delivery hit a Burnley player on the hand. Very little distance between ball and player, though, so you have to say the official called that one correctly.
41 minWe are now into the final four minutes of a half that has pretty much transpired with little incident. Burnley's attempt to get through on goal via a ball over the top does not quite come off, with Vokes living off scraps so far.
43 minPochettino may have a big decision to make at the interval - does he change things slightly or stick with it in the hope of finding a breakthrough? The longer is remains goalless the more frustrated the home fans will grow, which is not a great combination.

4.49pmReferee Lee Mason blows his whistle for half time, meaning we remain goalless at the midway stage. Far from a classic first half, in truth, with neither side managing to officially register a shot on target, though Sean Dyche will no doubt be the happier of the two managers.
4.52pmNeither team officially registered an attempt on target in a bland first half, though Burnley arguably came closest to making the breakthrough via a Robbie Brady cross that needed turning over the bar by Hugo Lloris. Burnley's other opportunities came from set pieces, with James Tarkowski in particular proving to be a nuisance as he twice headed over.
4.55pmSpurs saw far more of the ball but could do little with it, seeing attempts from Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane blocked in front of goal by Tarkowski. Kane also guided a header over the crossbar when picked out from a cross, as his wait for a first league goal in the month of August goes on. Maybe he will have better luck in the second half?...
4.58pmIt would bot be at all surprising to see Mauricio Pochettino make a change at the break, with his side struggling to make any openings. Opposite number Sean Dyche is more likely to hold off until the hour, at which point he will surely release new signing Chris Wood.

53 minThat goal certainly changes the complexion of things at Wembley Stadium. Burnley must now come out of their shells a little more in search of a leveller, while Spurs will be happy to stick to their original game plan of constantly pulling away.
55 minCLOSE! So, so close to a second of the afternoon for Spurs. Kane, still without a goal in the month of August, curled the ball wide of the target when picked out 10 yards from goal. He should have been scoring from there!
57 minPochettino will be keen for his side to score that killer second goal, with Burnley still well in this match as it stands. Dyche looks to be readying Barnes and Wood to come on, which should give the Tottenham backline something a little different to deal with.
59 minBURNLEY SUBS! Dyche goes ahead with that intended double change, bringing on Barnes and Wood in place of Vokes and Gudmundsson. Vokes was given little to work with in his hour on the pitch; maybe the replacements will fare better.
61 minWard gets forward and wins a corner off Son's block. Brady takes on the corner duties, sending the ball into the mix but Tarkowski could not quite get on the end of it. Another chance to cross from the other side, but again it is rather wasted.
63 minA ball over the top is flicked towards his own keeper by Mee, getting just enough on it to stop Alli pouncing. Spurs far from comfortable while there remains one goal in it, so Pochettino may make a first alteration in the coming minutes.
65 minReally good play from Kane to get the beating of Mee, but when charging forward and looking up he is unable to pick out a teammate - Stephen Ward doing enough to get back and put in a block, which is collected by keeper Tom Heaton.
67 minA quarter of the match left to play and, while Tottenham look comfortable at the moment after finally taking a deserved lead, this match is far from over. Expect Burnley to throw all they have at their opponents if it stays this way late on.
