Sami Khedira insists that Tottenham Hotspur "are lucky" to have Harry Kane, who he claims is arguably the best all-round striker in the world right now.

Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has hailed Harry Kane as possibly "the most complete striker" in the world ahead of his side's meeting with Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League.

Kane has finished top of the Premier League scoring charts in back-to-back seasons and is on course to do so once again this time around.

Ahead of the last-16 double-header between Juve and Spurs over the next month - beginning with the first leg in Turin on Tuesday - Khedira has revealed his admiration for both England international Kane and opponents Tottenham.

"I watched them a lot this year, against Liverpool and Arsenal. They are strong, because they have good defending, a really good midfield, a world-class attacking line and a really good coach," he told BBC Sport.

"They are still young, maybe that is a good thing for us. We have to be super-focused, because for me they are one of the best teams in Europe and in England.

"Harry Kane for me is maybe the most complete striker, actually. There is also Robert Lewandowski and [Gonzalo] Higuain, too, but he is strong, good with his head, fast, good with his feet, can score with one touch, he can dribble...

"For me he's an amazing player and still young, so Tottenham are lucky to have him."

Kane has 22 Premier League goals this season in 25 appearances, compared to 13 in 22 Serie A outings for Juve striker Higuain.
