Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how South Korea could line up for Monday's World Cup 2022 Group H clash with Ghana.

South Korea manager Paulo Bento will have to cope without attacker Hwang Hee-chan for Monday's World Cup 2022 Group H clash with Ghana at the Education City Stadium.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers man was able to make the bench in the draw with Uruguay on Thursday, but he has been unable to take part in full training since due to hamstring discomfort.

With Hwang sidelined, his namesake Hwang Ui-jo should hold the fort at the tip of the attack for the Tigers of Asia after making his 50th appearance for the nation this week.

Son Heung-min was also passed fit to start with a protective mask in tow following his recent facial fracture, and the captain should bring up his 106th cap for South Korea here.

Following a dogged performance against Uruguay, Bento should see no need to fix what is not broken on Monday, as Jung Woo-young and Hwang In-beom continue in the middle.

Assuming he can recover from calf discomfort, Kim Min-jae should marshal an identical backline alongside fellow centre-back partner Kim Young-gwon, as Kim Seung-gyu aims to help South Korea keep a fourth successive clean sheet as the last line of defence.

South Korea possible starting lineup: Seung-gyu; Moon-hwan, Min-jae, Young-gwon, Jin-su; Jung, In-beom; Na, Lee, Son; Ui-jo
