Sports Mole challenges you to name every player to have earned at least 100 caps for Republic of Ireland.

With Heimir Hallgrimsson now at the helm, Republic of Ireland are going through a transitional period in an effort to move themselves back up the international pecking order.

Prior to his arrival last summer, legendary player John O'Shea was placed in interim charge, earning one win and one draw from four friendlies against Belgium, Switzerland, Hungary and Portugal.

O'Shea has since become assistant coach under Hallgrimsson, but he is best remembered for his 17-year stint as a player for the Boys in Green.

His debut came in August 2001, being introduced as a late substitute in a friendly with Croatia, but he eventually missed out on a place in the squad for the 2002 World Cup.

Nevertheless, the former Manchester United player would become a regular in the backline from there and would earn spots in the squads for Euro 2012 and 2016.

He made a total of five starts and one substitute outing at major tournaments, captaining the side for the final two starts, but after the second of those tournaments, his game time for his country petered out.

Although eventually reaching 118 appearances, just two caps were earned in 2017 and 2018, O'Shea having then moved past his mid-thirties and ending an illustrious career that included five Premier League titles and one Champions League trophy down in the second tier of English football with Reading.

To celebrate O'Shea's 44th birthday, Sports Mole challenges you to name the seven players who have reached triple figures in a Republic of Ireland shirt.
