Real Valladolid welcomed Sevilla to the Estadio Municipal Jose Zorrilla on Sunday evening knowing that three points would have moved them out of the relegation zone.
Sevilla had the lead inside two minutes, however, when Carlos Bacca found the bottom corner with a powerful effort, before Alberto Moreno made it 2-0 in the latter stages of the first period.
Valladolid had one back late on courtesy of Manucho, before Patrick Ebert's stunning free kick secured a share of the spoils with little more than five minutes remaining.
