Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Sunday's La Liga contest with Mallorca.

Real Madrid will be without the services of five players for Sunday's La Liga contest with Mallorca.

Lucas Vazquez and Ferland Mendy remain absent due to ankle and thigh problems respectively, while Eder Militao has been ruled out of the match with the groin issue that he picked up in Thursday's 2-0 victory over Valencia at Bernabeu.

Karim Benzema will also be missing due to the hamstring injury that he picked up against Valencia, while Eden Hazard is out with a muscular problem.

David Alaba is pushing to return to the starting XI, though, with the Austrian back in the squad after recovering from a calf issue.

Toni Kroos was substituted against Valencia after complaining of pain in his adductor, but the German has also been named in the squad for this match.

Dani Carvajal and Aurelien Tchouameni both made their injury returns on Thursday and could now be considered for starts in this match.

Federico Valverde should also return to the XI, while Benzema's absence at centre-forward could open the door for Rodrygo to play through the middle, with Marco Asensio and Vinicius Junior, who scored the goals against Los Che, operating in the wide positions.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Rudiger, Alaba, Camavinga; Valverde, Tchouameni, Modric; Asensio, Rodrygo, Vinicius
